What a historic moment for Indian Chess. We have an All-Indian Final set up at the FIDE Women's World Chess Cup 2025 - Grandmaster Koneru Humpy vs International Master Divya Deshmukh!

No matter the result, we will get to see India clinch Gold at Batumi in a few days. Both of the players have booked their spot in the Women's Candidates Tournament by qualifying to the finals!

If Humpy wins, it will her second World title in the span of less than a year - she became the Women's World Rapid Champion in December 2024. If Divya wins, she becomes India's 88th Grandmaster! It will be the first Women's World Cup title for both of them in any case.

Tomorrow is a rest day. Game 1 of the finals will start on Saturday, 26th July from 4:30 PM IST. Game 2 will take place on 27th - and the tiebreaks if needed will take place on 28th July, all at the same time. Follow all the action live on the ChessBase India YouTube channel!
