Grandmaster Vaishali Rameshbabu has created history. After winning the FIDE Women's Grand Swiss in 2023, she wins it again in 2025! Vaishali is the Champion of FIDE Women's Grand Swiss 2025 at Samarkand, Uzbekistan with 8/11 points.
Vaishali made a solid draw with the Black pieces against Former Women's World Champion Tan Zhongyi in the final round today! With this draw, Vaishali clinched the title and booked her spot at the Women's Candidates Chess Tournament 2026.
